From the generous folks at.....

Koda Farms who produce fabulous rice flour for all sorts of recipes have sent me a couple of boxes of Mochiko Rice flour to share with a few lucky readers.

This flour is fabulous and is a great gluten free alternative for both baking and cooking. It's properties are a great combination of wheat flour and cornstarch when cooking and thickening. You can make roux with it or turn it into a slurry (like cornstarch) and thicken soups and sauces, quickly and easily. Best of all, it's great when you are freezing meals to use later.

So if you are interested here's how to let me know (you'll get an entry for each one):
1. Leave a comment letting me know what you would try it out in first.
2. Become a follower of my blog.
3. Give me a shout out on your blog letting people know about the giveaway.

I'll choose a winner by Saturday Morning so check back.

P.S. I have three boxes to give away! and for more giveaways check out Heavenly Homemakers!

Rice flour is great for frying foods, which I try not to do a lot of, but Chili's chicken tenders are made w/rice flour, I'd love to try to duplicate their recipe!

I'm already a follower of your blog :)

Hello. Found you via Heavenly Homemakers and the title with "rice flour" caught my eye. I would try it out in a bread recipe. And then I would likely give some of it away...two neighbors and one friend are gluten-free.

If I get to my blog, I will give a shout-out to ya too!

Blessings,
Simple Raw Food Mamma

I cook with rice flour because my son must stay away from wheat. I would enjoy trying this brand. I have heard about Sweet Rice Flour but have never used it. Thanks for the giveaway.

I haven't used it before and if I win it I would actually send it to a friend of mine for her daughter who was recently found to be allergic to gluten. I am going to send her a link to your blog! She's always looking for new recipes!

I have a friend who has to stay away from wheat; it would be great to be able to make him some bread or something like that the next time he comes over!

I've never tried rice flour. Sounds great!

I think I would try to use it as a substitue for part of my whole wheat flour in pizza dough to lighten up the crust... Those chicken tenders someone else posted about earlier sound awesome too! I didn't know Chili's used that, but I *love* their chicken tenders!

I would try it first as a coating for my husband's fresh caught fried fish!

I might try to bake something for my father in law since he can't have gluten.

I was thinking I would try it in my husband's favorite cooked frosting, but all those comments about coating chicken with it sound good too.

My best friend's son can't have wheat, so this would make a great gift. I'd try it in my peanut butter delight bars that calls for rice flour.
